Professional Training and Affiliations: I received a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Sam Houston State University in 1998. Following commencement, I pursued a Masters Degree in Counseling graduating in 2001. Becoming a member of the Texas Counseling Association

in 2000 has continued to develop my professional practice and keep me involved

in Texas legislature.

Clinical Focus: After spending the first four years of my career working with children, adolescents and families with a not for profit agency, I truly see the power of family. After relocating to The Woodlands, my practice has broadened. Even though working with families and children remains an important part of my time, I have thoroughly enjoyed expanding my private practice to include more adults and couples. Currently maintaining a general practice with clients of varying ages (five to 60+), I am pleased with the diversity. There are a variety of clinical issues I enjoy working with including marriage and family issues, depression, anxiety, abuse, grief, childhood disorders, adjustment disorders, eating disorders, drug and alcohol abuse, as well as anger management.
